Gardening Tasks for March is fun list to start on! Not only are there many fun things to do in the garden like planning for new edibles like your warm weather veggies and new fruit trees, you can also spend longer hours outside catching rays, enjoying the lovely breezes and listening to all the birds.
My garden is alive with finches, doves, and hummingbirds and I couldn’t be happier. The finches are enjoying their feeders, while the doves and hummingbirds are nesting – we have two hummingbird hatchlings, another nest being carefully tended, and the seemingly absent minded doves doing their best with a precariously balanced nest as well . (Oh those crazy doves!)
In a couple of weeks (March 28, 2015) I’ll be speaking at Green Thumb Nursery in Newhall. It is their Spring Opening and as usual will be tons of fun. This year I’ll be speaking about How to Bring Birds and Butterflies (and friends) into your garden because I am feeling very inspired by my own visitors. I’ll show you how to draw them in so you can enjoy them as much as I do. Also over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting stories about bringing those birds and butterflies to you in case you can’t come visit with me at the end of the month.
Here is your list of gardening tasks for March, I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.
