Yes, I’m a little late but I could just as soon been too early reminding you about Frost Protection. By the time you read this post it might be up to 70 degrees, after all it is January! Since we are very early in the winter here in Southern California it is highly likely that we’ll get another freeze warning or two especially in the Antelope Valley, up the Grapevine and yes – even in Santa Clarita.
One thing I want to stress to you now is that if your plants already suffered damage from this last snap – DON’T prune them! Yes, it looks yucky but if you want to keep them – leave those ugly burned leaves etc. on the plant to protect it.
