I was so inspired this week, walking through my local nursery and around the wholesale growing grounds surrounded by Camellia plants; some in full bloom and some with tons of buds ready to burst free.
Camellias are an amazing winter blooming plant for Southern California, and if you have both shade and space you really should consider having a few of these beauties in your garden. Camellias begin blooming often as early as December, and will continue on for another two or three months.
