It’s May and time to get into the garden! This is a great month all around the country, and of course Southern California has some very special tasks all its own.
Our Southern California Garden is really starting to sing. Everywhere I look there is another garden with unique and beautiful blooms, textures and colors. If you would like a little help taking care of your garden, take a look at this list of garden chores, and enjoy yourself outdoors. This list isn’t the be all end all, but it will get you started and give you a jumping off place. If you have questions, I’m here for you to ask. I love helping create beautiful, comfortable spaces so people can enjoy their homes in a more expanded way.
A garden is living art. It takes love and time to make it your own. Spending time adding to your sanctuary, touching the soil and plants is a multi-dimensional experience that will only add to your life. If you spend time out in nature, in your little piece of nature you will feel better and enjoy life more. Being close to nature will give you energy, serenity, and help you feel more grounded. Who couldn’t use a little of that?
Using beautiful plant material that attracts wildlife will bring energy, and serenity into your garden. Blooms with nectar and pollen, water in your space, and nesting spaces will attract an assortment of birds and pollinators into your space for you to enjoy. Create a sanctuary for yourself by creating a haven for nature. Tuning in to the needs of nature, helps you be more connected and adds another dimension to your life.
