Creating a beautiful sanctuary outdoors is easy when you find and use garden inspiration. Taking trips and going to new locations is a fun and easy way to pick up some garden inspiration.
Here are some photographs from a wonderful little garden (and more) store in British Columbia where I saw not only some amazing art and statuary that gave me garden inspiration, I also saw a goat on a roof (and I have the shopping bag to prove it!)
Garden inspiration can come from many places. I find garden inspiration visiting gardens on trips, in nature, at stores, in the country side, at hotels, restaurants and even when I’m visiting friends. Open your mind and look around, and you be amazed to find that there is garden inspiration all around you.
You can take color cues, accessory ideas, design principles, and even plant combinations from places all around you. By opening your eyes and your mind you will be amazed at how much you can add to your own garden design.
Finding cute ornaments, statuary, and garden art can help you build an area of your garden. Think about displaying a collection within your garden. A collection of garden lizards can be a delightful accent within an area of your garden, and you’ll find them of all sizes, shapes, and prices in your travels. If you don’t like lizards, you can try butterflies, dragonflies, or maybe some cute little snails – which are much better to have in your garden than live snails.
Garden inspiration is all around us, take a few minutes each day to enjoy your surroundings you’ll be surprised how enriching it will be to all of your life.
