These beautiful California natives are a staple on our beautiful dry hillsides and should be a reminder that beauty doesn’t mean lots of water. The California Poppy is bright, cheery, and can really spruce up a landscape. Mixing it with some beautiful native Penstemons like Margarita BOP or dotting a hillside of Ceanothus with them would be a wonderful highlight to a water wise landscape. These beautiful annuals self seed, so you many not have to plant them every year. You can plant from seed, from six packs, or from 4″ pots. You’ll find a size to suite your budget and your mood.
