Gardening Tasks – November

Tools

It is that time of the month again, when I give you the list of Gardening Tasks that you should be working on this month.   The weather started to cool off, but then the temps began to rise again, so be sure that you continue to drink plenty of water and work on your gardening tasks during the cooler parts of the day.

In addition to the gardening tasks that we have every year, this year Santa Clarita (and much of LA County) residents will be re-setting their Irrigation timers to the two day a week restrictions that go into effect this month.   Remember though, don’t just turn off a whole day,  calculate how much water you use for the week on the three day schedule, cut back a little but dial up the run times a little to make sure that you don’t cut too much water for your garden.  You can also add additional watering times if you find that the water is running off with more time.  You want the water to fully permeate the soil.

I’d love to collaborate with you on your garden sanctuary, consider working with a landscape designer for a nice finished feel.  You can call me at 661-917-3521 or take a look at my website and contact me there.

xoxo
