Being a Landscape Designer in Santa Clarita I know a thing or two about Garden Design. I like to think that I am helping turn yards into gardens, sanctuaries, personal paradises so beautiful Garden Design is essential.
The best way to create a wonderful, well planned, personal garden is to take what has gone before, add some inspiration, and have fun. To that end every single day becomes an opportunity for inspiration. Whether it is a family trip, a ride to a shopping area away from home, or a luxurious vacation; I like to take a walk, enjoy nature and make every moment of every day count.
I was very lucky to have time with my cousins up in Northern California recently, we cooked, ate, talked, shared stories, and took a wonderful walk with the dogs. I think that walking around talking and enjoying the scenery was one of the best hours of the entire trip. These are only a few of my photographs, I hope you enjoy them.
I may not be able to use all the plants that I see on every trip, but that doesn’t matter because what I reap in inspiration is so much more than plant choices. It is the vibe, the feeling, the energy of every place exudes. Capturing that feeling is the essence of creating a comfortable, personalized sanctuary. One that soothes the soul, and makes your heart feel light. Creating a beautiful garden is all about how it makes you feel, and that you can find every time you walk out your door and into this wonderful world.
