Masonry – an Inspirational Tale

Masonry - Assisi beauty

Masonry is something that I have grown to love.  I started out as a landscape designer because of my love of plants, and design.  The flow of a garden bed brimming with perennials has set my heart soaring.  Over the years I have come to realize that a perfectly placed pathway, or a beautifully turned staircase can elicit the same sort of feelings in both myself and others.

Masonry - well turned staircase

I was very lucky to be able to travel to Italy recently,  so I am going to take you on a journey of the region of Umbria through masonry.  This is the first of a series of posts that will show of the beauty and artistry that can be found in Italy, and brought to life in your backyard with the help of the right design, and a skilled mason.

Of course, I know just the guy!  You can listen to me interviewing Alex Ventura of Alex Ventura Masonry at this link.

Please enjoy these photos, I will talk more about masonry in the coming weeks.

The masonry here is amazing, I love to design both hardscape and landscape and would love to share my inspirations with you.  If you would like to re-design your outdoor space consider giving me a call at 661-917-3521 or take a look at my website and contact me there.
