Garden Art

Garden Details 4

Garden Art is the topic of today’s reflections.  Long holiday weekends are meant to be enjoyed, to be shared with friends and family and this one is no exception.  I love taking time out to visit new and fun places where I can find beautiful objects ‘d arte for my garden and the gardens of my clients.  This weekend I’m taking some time with my besties to hit a new location, we’ve been dreaming of in Summerland.  I’ll share that location with you soon – after I’ve visited.  In the meantime, I’d like to share some fun garden (and indoor) selections I’ve found right in Los Angeles.  I went shopping with a fave client recently and here are some of the great items we saw at Big Daddy’s.

Old Sink

Imagine this wonderful piece of Garden Art – an old sink filled to cascading with beautiful plant material.

Antique Booth

Can’t you just imagine the tendrils of a beautiful vine creeping up and into this beautiful antique booth – certainly Garden Art at it’s finest.

Cow

I love this cow,  Garden Art at its finest!

While your are out enjoying yourself, having fun with your friends, visualizing your beautiful garden keep the day we are celebrating this weekend in mind.  Memorial Day is a holiday when we remember those that served our country and that died while in the Armed Forces.  It is important that we remember that our country was built on their service and sacrifice.  It is important to remember them and to thank them and their families for that sacrifice.  Take a moment this weekend to give thanks to those that allow us to be free.

I enjoy collaborating with my clients to create the garden that suits them best. I can design for you, design and implement, or by popular demand – help you sort out the next steps you want to take in your garden. If you are interested in any or all of the above call me at 661-917-3521 or visit my website and contact me there.
